Do it Yourself- Baby Christmas Photos
Parents! It could be your first Christmas or your third with your little one- But photos are always so cute with them and they make a lovely lasting memory.
It’s our first Christmas with our little man and of course I wanted to do some Christmas themed photos with him (Usually I only have the dogs, cats and horses to bug for these).
The best part about these photos is they’re SO easy and if you want to do them yourself you don’t even need anything fancy.
I started at the dollar store. They have Christmas stockings, hats, boxes, bows, little ornaments- Anything you might want to make your vision happen. All I did was grab a handful of stuff I had from photoshoots past, set up a white sheet backdrop, and scatter some ornaments. This first photo was particularly tough because our little guy is sensitive to everything right now and took a long time to sleep soundly enough to get this shot.
You can play with coloured backgrounds, or just keep it solid. Remember, any memory is a great one and when doing it yourself you don’t HAVE to have a big professional camera and gear for small prints.
Something else that’s super helpful is a bathtub! A baby bathtub seat that is. If your little one isn’t sitting up yet use a bathtub seat with some blankets for more poses.

If you want to ditch the white background you can also use your tree and skirt, or put down a little floofy bed for them.
Our little dude enjoyed hanging out under the tree. We turned on the lights, brought some ornaments down and let him do his thing. I didn’t use the dollar store for this shot, just wrapped gifts and some over enthusiasm for this smile.
Merry Christmas all.
